Giant Self-Floating Hoses to Antwerp

OMA Logistics Ghana recently handled a project to export 53 self-floating hoses into at total of 53 x 40 foot containers, destined for Antwerp.

The hoses had been used for dredging works on the much-publicised Tema Port Expansion Project, each one weighing 12.8 metric tonnes and measuring 12m x 2.4m x 2.4m 

This was a large operation with tight deadlines and the logistics team worked tirelessly over day and night shifts including the weekend.  Through careful and detailed planning and co-ordination with the vessel operators, all the containers were loaded and securely lashed and ready to ship in two lots within a matter of days.  Well done team!
