Are port operations continuing for cargo ships?
Yes, but operations will be affected by new procedures implemented by the port as well as new customs & terminal operating hours.
Ships are subjected to health checks and may be subjected to quarantine.
Land cargo is restricted at the entrance and exit of Abidjan area as vehicles need authorisation from the authorities.
Authorisation for essential road freight transport in country must be requested online
Is crew change possible?
No crew changes are permitted

Update 20th February 2020
As from January 29, 2020, before berthing, any vessels calling at Abidjan and San Pedro ports from countries affected by Coronovirus (Covid-19) will be subject to sanitary controls at anchorage by the department of the National Institute of Public Hygiene (INHP).
Visitors arriving by air or by sea from affected areas must complete two weeks of observed quarantine on arrival.
